Description

BASICS

    Name : Tally Redipseht (red-IP-set)
    Age : 14
    Gender : Female

    Pokemon : Ariados
    Ability : Swarm
When a Pokémon with Swarm uses a bug type move, the power will increase by 1.5× if the user has less than or equal to ⅓ of its maximum HP remaining.

Job : Freak Show "The Feral Girl"
With her deformed appearance, Tally is locked in a cage, and paraded around as some odd creature found deep within the jungles of parts unknown. She'll hiss and screech at passing crowds, who may stop and gawk at the strange half feral/half anthro girl.

WISH

Wish : ”I wish everyone would just leave me alone.”
Because both her parents were hot shot fashion designers, Tally was in the limelight often enough just for being their child. But because of her extra eyes, arms, and teeth, she was in the papers for less then nice reasons. In the city she lived it, everyone gave her weird looks or gossiped about her. When Tally met Mr. Valentine Dark, she wished people would just leave her alone.

Backfire : And they did. Completely. Nobody talked to her, looked at her, thought about her, or cared about her. The worst part was that people still knew who she was, but they just didn't care! The only place, the Darkrai said, that people would ever care would be with his circus. While in the Circus, people will pay attention to her. But the moment she quits Circus Darkrai, everyone who she has ever met will instantly ignore her once more.

PERSONALITY

Happy • Confident • Hard Working • Persistent • Morally Gray • Spoiled • Naive

Tally has been put down and neglected all her life. Perhaps if she wasn't the child of two very famous fashion designers, she might be able to slip by life a bit unnoticed. Sadly, this isn't the case. But Tally sees how well people can be treated. She knows kindness and happiness exist! So she feels that maybe, just maybe, if she remains happy and confident, she too will one day be able to receive that same kindness and love. As such, there's always a smile on Tally's face and a spring in her step. She has an intense desire to do good, and be the best her she can be. As such, she adores genuine praise, and will do anything to get it, even if it goes against her moral code. Tally is a little too desperate for praise, and will sometimes hound people for things to do in order to get the kind words she wants.

Growing up in a rich home has also made Tally a bit spoiled. She would often get whatever she wanted if she promised to remain out of sight. As such, Tally doesn't understand or accept no well. She believes no just means "I need to try harder." If you persist with no, Tally will start getting very bratty and passive aggressive. While she doesn't feel like the world owes her anything, she has this grande scheme all cooked up in her head on how to get what she wants, and you saying no just throws an unnecessary wrench into that.

Tally also has a problem of trusting the wrong people. Like stated, she knows kindness and love exist, but she doesn't realize that not everyone thinks in the same black and white levels of kindness she does. You're either a nice person, or not. And if her first impression of you is that you're nice, you could turn around and do something morally black and she'll still think you're a good person. She'll even defend your name at that point. Tally is so desperate for love, that she refuses to think for a moment that her new friend might be bad. As long as you show her love, you could be the worst person in the world. Even with Mr. Dark, she knows all the shady dealings he does, but just doesn't care. Mr. Dark showed her the first and best kindness in her life, so by that leap of logic Mr. Dark is whom Tally is most loyal to. She would gladly sell you out to him if it meant pleasing him. It's no skin off Tally's back.

TL;DR : Flash her a smile, call her your friend, and Tally would happily wreck the world for you.

    Likes: Games, attention, praise, learning
Dislikes: The word monster, Large crowds, being told no, messing up

HISTORY

    Born : Lumiose City

One day, an Ariados and Galvantula from the high world of fashion met, fell in love and got married. They were in heaven, and their heaven seemed to hit the seventh level when their fashion company skyrocketed in popularity. Their faces and designs were always in the papers or a commercial for their company (Now combined and dubbed Soliloquy Silks) was always on the radio. How could things get any better? Well, simple! They were going to have a child! A new heir to Soliloquy Silks! The glorious day came when the mother was delivering her child, and the fashion world was on edge to see the new precious bundle of joy. What would this new beautiful baby look like?!

    Hell, that's what.

The mother didn't give birth to a child, she gave birth to a monster. With disjointed limbs, extra eyes, and poisonous slobber, the baby wasn't a miracle to the family, it was a curse. They named the baby Tally, and despite everything the doctors tried, there was nothing they could do to fix all the problems this new born baby had. They just didn't have the technology or skill. As such, Mr. and Mrs. Redpiseht were forced to take the child home, and pray to Arceus that she would just grow out of these mutations. Of course, Tally never did. In fact, they just got worse as she aged. But despite this, her parents had a responsibility as her guardians. They tried -Arceus, they tried- to love her. But it was just so impossible to do if they wanted to uphold their image as high class fashion designers. In the end, they chose their careers over Tally.

Tally lived her life like she was the star of an urban legend. People wanted information on the horrible child, and as such Tally was forced to keep hidden and away from prying eyes. They pulled her out of public school, and hired a private tutor. Whenever she was allowed outside, people would stare relentlessly. Often enough, she'd be kicked, or things thrown at her. Tally had her own personal guard assigned to her, but even then, it was clear he was just doing it for the paycheck. Tally was also never allowed to accompany her parents anywhere. She desperately wanted to be involved in their lives, but they refused over and over. Soon, they learned that promising Tally they'd buy her nice things usually got her to keep out of sight. Tally spent her life surrounded by things. But they were things her parents bought her. Not once did Tally ever think her parents disliked her. They were obviously just busy people, right? It was obvious they loved her very much. Right?...Right!

Though she looked like a monster, Tally was a child in heart and soul. So when she heard about a circus coming to town, Tally was quick to beg her parents to take her. But this was a problem, because it involved taking Tally out in a public space. Tally knew all the bad things that could -and would- happen if she went. But Tally wanted to do this! Her parents always gave her what she wanted before, so why couldn't they just let her do this?! Even when they tried to bribe her once more, Tally would not have it. Eventually, Tally melted down into a temper tantrum. This argument kept going and going and going, until Tally finally asked the million dollar question: "Why do you hate me so much?!"

    "Because you're a monster!"

The media called her a monster. People on the streets called her a monster. By definition, she was a monster. But never ever had her parents used the word. Until now. And it didn't end there. They ranted and raved about how hard it was to keep Tally safe and out of the spotlight, and that she should be grateful they protected her as much as they did. She was a burden to them. They didn't love her, they tolerated her. This must've been years worth of hostility and resentment pouring out. Tally never heard the entirety of their rant, because her horror got the better of her, and she bolted from the room. Tally locked herself away, and cried and screamed for hours. Even when the initial pain ended, Tally felt numb inside. For the next few days, she only left her room to attend to basic needs. No more and no less.

Days came and went, and soon the day came when the circus rolled into town. At first, Tally had no intentions of going. But her grief had been going through waves. Denial and bargaining had passed, and she was in depression right now. But the more she thought about how bad she wanted to go to the circus, the angrier she became. She was not a monster! She was a big girl who just looked different! She could make her own decisions, and if her parents didn't like it, then that was just tough for them! All she would do is go and look around! She'd be back before she was even missed. When her parents left for a business meeting, leaving her home alone with her guard, Tally snuck out. (For once, Tally was grateful the guard was only there for the paycheck. He had fallen asleep on the couch and Tally was able to just waltz outside.) It took Tally a long time to actually get to the circus, because she had to remain out of sight the entire time. But eventually, she made it. But now the question remained; how would she get inside? She had no money! Well, she had snuck out of the house before, maybe she could just sneak into the circus?

Bad idea. The moment she tried it, security spotted her. In her panic to get away, Tally ran right into a crowd of people. People screamed as she approached, and both she and the crowd tried to get away from each other. The words monster and freak were thrown around, and behind her, Tally could see the security guard still on her heels. There was god damn chaos outside of the circus grounds.

    And then, it stopped.

The people parted like the Red Sea, and the security guard backed off. Tally was left in a circle of people, with only one opening to escape. But that opening was blocked by a new face. A very tall, and very intimidating man strode forward, further backing Tally into a corner. This was bad. This was very bad! She just wanted to go home!

”Everyone. Disperse. Leave the child be."

With just the single sentence, the crowd of people vanished, and the security guard returned to his post. Tally and this new man were the only ones who remained. Despite having multiple chances to escape now, Tally found herself rooted to the spot. The man introduced himself then as Mr. Dark, ringmaster of Circus Darkrai. Despite Tally's better judgment, she greeted the ringmaster, introduced herself, and was even able to strike up a small conversation with him. The conversation lasted for around 10 minutes,  and not once did Mr. Dark flinch at her looks or attempt to hurt her. She was just having a normal conversation, like a normal person! Even when he began asking questions on her more personal life, Tally didn't mind. Why should she? She was having a normal conversation! She was normal!! When Tally mentioned all the neglect and hate she received for her looks, Mr. Dark frowned.

”Now, why would anyone abuse an innocent child? What do you wish to be done about this raw deal you have? I would be more then willing to help.”

”I dunno....I just wish everyone would leave me alone.”

A smile, a snap of a fingers, and then nothing more. Tally had assumed Mr. Dark was just teasing her, so she laughed at his silly antics. No longer feeling afraid, and her curiosity about the circus forgotten, she bid Mr. Dark a thank you and a good bye. She was able to return home without being caught once more. To her horror, when she returned home she realized she had been out longer than she thought. Her parents were back! Tally knew she was going to get into so much trouble, and so she braced for the verbal onslaught. And yet...it never came. When her parents found her, they just gave her a quick glance, and nothing more. That was...new. Tally asked them a few questions about their day, trying to figure out why they were being distant. But they only replied with grunts and shrugs. Perhaps they really were just too busy to bother with her tonight? Tally decided to call it a night, and crawled into bed. She was sure tomorrow, things would go back to normal.

The next three weeks was just awful. Not only did her parents ignore her, EVERYONE ignored her. Her parents, reporters, her guard, EVERYONE! In fact, nobody made her any food, helped her get dress, helped her bathe, played with her, NOTHING! That time was miserable for her. With each day, her parents made less and less food, going from cooking for three, to cooking for two. They left Tally alone for long periods of time, and would always lock her out of the house if they went out while she was out as well. Tally was slowly starving, and would often have to sleep outside if she remained out for too long and her parents locked the door. She was hungry, and cold, and dirty, and very, very alone.

During the three week anniversary of her run in with Mr. Dark, Tally roamed around the city, scavenging for some sort of food. Eventually, Tally made her way back to the circus grounds. At that moment, she remembered the conversation she had with the nice ringmaster, and decided to see if perhaps he would pay attention to her. For some reason, when she went up to the ticket salesmen and explained her situation. ("I talked with Mr. Dark and then bad stuff happened so I wanna see if Mr. Dark is still a nice person.") he nearly keeled over, and directed the girl to the ringmaster. Mr. Dark greeted her with more than just a head nod. He acknowledged her! Tally wanted nothing more then to stick by this man who finally paid attention to her. Not once did she suspect Mr. Dark having anything to do with what had happened the weeks before, and Mr. Dark did not tell her who had caused it. When the topic of Tally being ignored came up, Mr. Dark offered her sanctuary. He promised that people would know and remember her in his circus.

Why wouldn't she take that offer? Her parents hated her, she was lonely and likely to die in the coming weeks, and nobody wanted her around anyways. But Mr. Dark was nice! She said yes with no doubts behind her words.
